The Challenge
An institutional trading group in the Middle East needed a unified platform that could support both cryptocurrency trading and physical gold investment within a single application. The platform had to handle real-time crypto trading across multiple assets, fiat-to-crypto conversion, gold tokenisation with physical delivery capability, and multi-currency fiat wallet management — all within a secure, compliant, and scalable architecture.
What Was Built
A multi-asset trading wallet supporting 29+ cryptocurrencies with real-time fiat-to-crypto exchange, stop-loss and take-profit order execution, and multi-currency fiat wallet management. A parallel gold trading module enabled users to buy and sell gold tokens — where 1 token represents 1 gram of physical gold — with the option to take physical gold delivery via a third-party logistics provider. Both platforms were built with GDPR-compliant design, end-to-end encryption, biometric eKYC onboarding, and a notification and support center, reflecting our AI-native platform engineering for regulated environments. Two separate branded applications were delivered — one for crypto trading, one for gold — sharing a common secure infrastructure. Market Monitoring & Portfolio Rebalancing Alerts
An AI monitoring layer tracks real-time price fluctuations across cryptocurrency markets and gold commodity prices. Based on pre-defined investment strategies and algorithms, the system generates portfolio rebalancing recommendations and delivers them to users as in-app notifications. Strategies are periodically reviewed and updated using an SLM model, ensuring the recommendation engine evolves with market conditions without requiring a full system rebuild.
